The research activity of the Sustainability of Eco-Materials and Structures (DMS) team is to offer a global vision of the development of eco-materials and their interaction with their environment of use. The development of these materials and structures must combine the concepts of mechanical resistance, durability, whether they are civil engineering structures or composites that perform well for the industry.
The transdisciplinary approach incorporates formulation and implementation, physical-chemical and mechanical characterization, and predictive and multiphysical modeling for the use of these materials in service conditions.
Beyond the expected functionality and performance, service requirements and sustainability, these scientific developments are carried out with a vision of sustainable development.
