The CNRS-IRSN Micromechanical and STructity Integrity Joint Laboratory (MIST)
The objective of the MIST is to study the integrity of heterogeneous and evolutionary structures. The aim is to understand and predict the behaviour of materials and structures as well as the microstructural changes that materials undergo in harmful environments such as strong thermomechanical stresses or natural and induced aging. These environments can be found in the nuclear field (core of power plant, waste storage, etc.).
